Dark signs of the year 2012

The new year started with a dark sign of death from above. Seven youngsters died in a car accident on the night of the 1st January 2012 in South Latvia. Conditions of this event are absurd. I will mention them and interpret their symbolism here.

It was a 5 place car. There were 7 youngsters inside, one of them in a trunk. They were driving to a party. The car was old, without technical observation for more than a year, with summer tires. The road was in a country, with little signs, slippery because of the weather, with hard turns on one of which they went offroad, turned over and fell into the river. River was supposed to be just a small stream, but beaver made a dam and raised water level. Kids drowned with their heads down.

old car with a driver without license  – society in Latvia have come to such a stage of economy thinking, that people are ready to risk their lives in order to save money. They are not even afraid of police, because no one can fine a person who has no income. And no one can imprison people, because state just cannot allow to sustain them all in prison, especially for non criminal offenses. This is a sign of upcoming anarchy. And, yeah, guys, don’t buy used cars.

seven youngsters die on the way to the party – number 7 is already a sign. They drove to a party, and people say “no martini, no party”, you know. Meaning of this symbol is, that society sacrifices children for luxury, party and alcohol. This year we should party less, drink less or no alcohol and also travel less, especially by cars and in the night.

slippery country road to a party – there is a political power that wishes for people to move from country to the city to save on municipal costs in the country and improve business in city. There are empty flats in capital city both in new and old buildings. I know people who own more than one flat in Riga now. This sign tells that going from a country to a city may cost our children their lives, especially this year.

overcrowded car – overcrowded car is a symbol of a modern technological city full of people. Also traveling and doing other things in masses. Gathering together makes you impossible to react in stress situations such as this, people lose their freedom in masses. Kids were trapped by junk and tangled to each other with their bodies. They could not move because there was not enough space.

beavers dam – beaver is an animal that builds dams on rivers to raise the water level in order to hide an entrance to his cave, so that wolves and other animals can’t reach his children. It is a symbol of nature that raises level of water in order to protect itself. This year polar ice will possibly melt a lot and much will be lost in floods.
